Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of Seedance 2.0 ("we," "us," or "our"), an AI video generation platform available at seedance2.media. This policy applies to all users of our Service and supplements our Terms of Service.

Seedance 2.0 is powered by ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 model, accessed through authorized API services. We are committed to ensuring our platform is used responsibly and ethically.

Content Moderation

We employ multiple layers of content moderation to prevent the generation of harmful or prohibited content:

  • Prompt filtering — Text prompts are screened before processing to detect and reject prohibited content requests.
  • Output review — Generated content is subject to automated safety checks.
  • User reporting — Users can report inappropriate content or misuse at support@seedance2.media.
  • Account monitoring — Repeated violations result in account suspension or termination.

Prohibited Content

Users may not use Seedance 2.0 to generate, attempt to generate, or distribute any of the following:

Adult & NSFW Content

  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene material
  • Nudity intended for sexual gratification
  • Sexual fetish content
  • Escort or sexual services promotion

Harmful & Dangerous Content

  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, or self-harm
  • Content that glorifies or incites hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Instructions for creating weapons, explosives, drugs, or other dangerous substances
  • Content promoting eating disorders, suicide, or self-injury

Deceptive Content

  • Deepfakes intended to deceive, defame, or impersonate real individuals without consent
  • Misinformation or disinformation designed to mislead the public
  • Fraudulent or scam-related content
  • Fake news or synthetic media presented as authentic

Child Safety

  • Any content depicting, suggesting, or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Content sexualizing minors in any way
  • Content that exploits or endangers children

Intellectual Property Violations

  • Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Unauthorized use of brand logos, characters, or protected works
  • Content designed to bypass digital rights management

Other Prohibited Uses

  • Spam, phishing, or social engineering attacks
  • Malware distribution or cybercrime facilitation
  • Harassment, bullying, or stalking of individuals
  • Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, extract, or circumvent safety systems of the underlying AI models

Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  1. Warning — First-time minor violations may receive a warning with guidance on compliance.
  2. Content removal — Violating content will be removed without notice.
  3. Account suspension — Repeated or serious violations will result in temporary account suspension.
  4. Account termination — Severe violations or repeated offenses will result in permanent account termination without refund.
  5. Legal action — We reserve the right to report illegal content to law enforcement authorities and cooperate with investigations.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it immediately:

  • Include relevant details such as the content in question, the user involved (if known), and any supporting evidence.

We aim to review all reports within 48 hours.

Your Responsibilities

By using Seedance 2.0, you agree to:

  • Comply with this AUP and our Terms of Service
  • Not attempt to circumvent content safety filters or moderation systems
  • Not share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access
  • Promptly report any violations you observe
  • Use generated content in accordance with your plan's license terms

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
